Lock-down

My owners have me on, what they call, "lock-down." I've been living in this dog cage for almost a week now. And it's all because I injured my tail and back, left foot. I don't really mind being put inside. With winter on it's way it's colder than ever and the fireplace they have feels like heaven. My humans keep putting white bandages on my leg and foot that irritate my fur.  They've used sports tape, gauze, band-aids, cloth coverings, and socks. But I showed them! I have successfully destroyed every single infuriating piece of their so-called bandages. They thought they'd be smart and put a sock over the coverings, but I managed to slip it off anyways. When they re-wrap my injuries I bite, scream, and put up a fight to look tough so that the house cats won't think I'm weak. They stalk around my cage with glaring eyes, waiting for a chance to pounce. I have to be on my guard. The humans are still gentle and patient with me despite my hysterics. Although, they're angry with my attempts to get rid of their bandages. Or should I say victories? Yesterday I chewed off and ate the two band-aids that were put on my tail. Ha! I can't wait to see what they have planned next.
